Before founding MPR, Neil spent over twenty years underwriting and managing financial lines insurance with Chubb, developing, launching and managing products across all financial lines classes of insurance. Based in Manchester, and having run Chubb’s UK & Ireland Management Liability business, Neil is a strong advocate of regional broking. He has been a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute since 1999.

Tim has 20 years’ experience in financial lines insurance, across a variety of roles in both broking and underwriting. With specialisms in professional indemnity, media and cyber, Tim led the UK and European growth markets for Chubb as well as chairing their UK/Ireland Advisory panel. Based in Reading, Tim has a wealth of regional insurance experience and industry knowledge.

With over 30 years experience in the industry Karen has spent the last 25 years within the financial lines sector as an underwriter, broker and Regional Financial Lines Manager. Based in Birmingham, she has worked with brokers across the South and London marketplace at AIG, Marsh and latterly Chubb. With a wealth of experience, industry knowledge and strong market profile, Karen joined MPR in 2017 alongside Catriona Yule and Anthony Wright to manage our broker partner relationships and distribution strategy.

Anthony has 15 years’ experience in financial lines insurance, predominantly gained in roles with AIG, Chubb and MPR. Having spent an early part of his career working in a National Underwriting Centre in Manchester, Anthony built a knowledge base that he was able to utilise in a development role in the Midlands market. Prior to joining MPR in 2017 Anthony was Chubb’s UK&I subject matter expert on crime and kidnap & ransom, managing the crime product across all UK&I brokers. In addition to his Senior Underwriter role at MPR, Anthony retains responsibility for the crime and pension liability products.

Catriona has over 18 years of financial lines insurance experience. She has worked in a variety of roles across the UK regions for Chubb & MPR, both developing and underwriting all major financial lines products. Having joined MPR in 2017 as Senior Underwriter, Catriona also retains responsibility for the professional indemnity and financial institutions products.

James has over 11 years industry experience across broking and underwriting, with 7 years in financial lines and the bulk of those gained at MPR. Responsible for underwriting all major financial lines products James has a particular focus on Management Liability, Crime and Cyber, and is responsible for renewal business and new enquiries. James is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and is qualified to diploma level.

Prior to joining MPR, Pete gained 25 years of underwriting experience at Chubb, having held underwriting and broking roles previously. Pete moved into financial lines insurance in 2000 and in January 2007 he set up The National Underwriting Centre for Financial Lines in Manchester, which delivered superior underwriting and service levels on all financial lines classes of business for brokers across the UK & Ireland.

Magnus has over 20 years insurance experience in both broking and insurer roles. He spent 10 years with Chubb, majority of this as Financial Lines Manager for Scotland before moving onto similar senior regional roles with other leading insurers. He also gained some invaluable experience working as a client executive for a financial lines broker before returning to the insurer market. Magnus has a wealth of knowledge and experience working across all financial lines with a particular focus on providing bespoke solutions to risks with private equity backing. He has built strong key trading relationships with partner brokers across the regions.

Prior to joining MPR, Jo gained over 14 years of underwriting experience at Chubb within the National Underwriting Centre for Financial Lines in Manchester. Her main areas of focus are management liability, crime and pension liability.

Prior to joining MPR, Kendra has gained over 18 years insurance experience working for Chubb. Her most recent 10 years have been within the National Underwriting Centre in Manchester as a Financial Lines Underwriter. Her main areas of focus are management liability, crime and pensions liability.

Matthew joined MPR in 2021 on an Insurance Professional Apprenticeship which provides a development pathway into the industry with supporting and appropriate professional qualifications. His main focus at MPR is across all financial lines products gaining experience in relationship development, technical ability, decision making, processes/procedures and professionalism.

Since joining MPR in late 2022, Callum’s focus has primarily been on optimising workstreams and helping to establish the MPR Service Hub. In 2024, Callum commenced his Insurance Professional Apprenticeship, which provides a qualifications-backed development pathway. Alongside this, Callum’s primary areas of focus are our Management Liability and Crime products. However, his apprenticeship will develop technical competency ability, decision making and relationship development across all our product lines.
